Spring has arrived. There has been very warm and I have started my trainings. On Monday I slept long. That might be one reason why I felt myself a bit lazy in trainings. I started my Smolov now.

I didn´t train on Tuesday because we went to have some dinner with our friends Kyle, Nick, Daniel and Victor. I also had a job interview before that and I really hope it went well. The rest of the day I needed to plan the Junior Nordic Championships trip. Like I told you in December I have been selected as the Finnish Powerlifting junior committee´s chairwoman. It means I need to collect our junior National teams with the other members of committee. Now I am a team leader for the trip to Sweden,  so I tried to find flights and contacted Sweden. I love to work with our Junior Team. There are so many good guys and girls so it is always a pleasure to chat with them. In our committee there are also Seppo Sohlman, Samuel Lappalainen and Jyrki Auvinen. And of course Jari is still helping us even though he isn´t anymore a part of the actual committee – he is still a member of the board in the Finnish Powerlifting Association

On Wednesday I was again very tired. It is very common for me in Springs.  But I got to say I love to go out without a jacket! Last week was a bit warmer but this week… +18 degrees!

On Wednesday I trained again.

On Thursday we cleaned our apartment and I went to buy some mussels. Or some might be a wrong word because I bought 2 kg of them. And of course I also bought some fish. Pangasius was the name of the fish and it is some kind of a cat fish. It is much more tasty than the Pacific Salmon which we have eaten normally. Norwegian salmon is the best option but it is very expensive here.

The idea to cook mussels came to me when I was in Turku. My uncle made me some delicious fish and mussels and I really needed to try that myself. I have always done only red meat and chicken. That´s why I lack in fish cooking skills. I have started to cook more fish and shellfish now. Maybe I will be the next Finnish Masterchef ;)

The competition lasted very long and after that I tried to work a bit. Deadline of our Powerlifting magazine is coming and I still have plenty of articles to read through.  Then my favourite Wilks Powerlifters arrived. Patrick and Matthias came to see me. We chatted about powerlifting, watched films and then in the night visited the city center.

This week has been perfect! I will tell you more about it next weekend :)
