For the first time ever I have felt no passion with my training. Weightlifting is nice and I like doing it but with powerlifting I have serious problems with my motivation. After my operation I have developed a lot and I have had a good drive for training. Everything started with this sad ;) Bench press competition. As I expected, it came too fast and STILL I have some pains  in my muscles. After the bench competition I could not squat normally because my shoulders were so thigh. Even though my legs were operated I do not recover normally yet. My back has started to hurt again and it causes headache. I am so tired of lifting with equipment…

But I need to try. Next Saturday the first Finnish Raw-Championship will be held and I need to take part in it. I will lift under 63 weight class so there are some kilos to drop.

I spent the whole weekend in Tampere because we had this Gym-maximum day at the Alasali. Twice a year we go to the gym together to try out our own maximum lifts. The “competition” is called Ranking and every x-mas we will present an award for the best developer.  I did supertotal (both weightlifting and powerlifting events) and it was ok. I was supposed to do them very lightly because of those RAW-nationals.  I will add the video in the end.

The result was not so bad considering that I have trained normally for only a month now. Just before my operation I was lifting at Student Nationals where my body weight was 65,6 kilos. In parentheses are my results from SNC.

Squat

115, 125, 132,5 (145)

Snatch

55, 60f, 62,5 pb (55)

Bench Press

80, 85, 90f  (80)

Clean and Jerk

70, 75, 80 pb  (78)

Deadlift

150, 160,  (170)

So nothing special :) I will try to take some videos but my weightlitfting coach does not like them :D  And yes, I have trained just for fun now.  So there is no information about my training. I will try to recover and get my motivation back.  Ukraine is coming! And I need to be in shape there ;)

To muskleforum (korjattu;)) people:  I use those movie plates in weightlifting because 25kilos plates are quite scary :) It is easier to lift with 10+5+ 2,5+lock than with 20 kgs plates. And second thing is that in weightlifting I am lifting normally every fifth kilos. So I do not need to off load the bar whole time.

Oh I almost forgot. We have Spring in Finland now!

xoxoxo
